ADC provide opportunities for our students across all dance styles, for dancers at every level (including complete beginners!) to train & participate in professionally choreographed & shot dance videos - working with our professional videography team. Most of the dancers/students featuring in this gallery started with no dance or shooting experience, & we have worked with & trained them to prepare across a few weeks.

We turned our Media Manager Nick's Morningside Warehouse into an incredible glow in the dark powder room and made multiple costumes by hand to dress our incredible Squad Dancers (and three additional by invite students who had never shot or danced before last year) to create two beautiful shoots (back to back) one night in September, for release at our November show, last year. The beautiful shots were featured on billboards on Western Springs and this was the Opening Video held up on the big screen for our sold out RISE 2023 show. What a ride. Our ADC Creative Team Kimberley James & Nick Burridge created a massive powder room, with bespoke costume created for our ADC SQUAD Students alongside new students who'd never danced or shot before. All trainedwith us for camera, smashing out a goal after the Auckland Flooding. Released in front of a Live Sold Out Audience on the big screen & Live streamed to ticket holders around the world.

Our ADC Lyrical Students ( a mixture of absolute beginners and intermediate/advanced dancers) shot Florence and the Machine's "Shake It Out"in a huge warehouse out in West Auckland. It was sweltering hot, but an amazing experience for the team and all of our dancers.

Our ADC Burlesque/Chairwork Students (a mixture of absolute beginners and intermediate/advanced dancers) shot in a beautiful theatre in South Auckland (before the pandemic hit), to a beautiful piece by Janine- "Hold Me"- at a time when no one was able to touch each other at all! Very apt to release during a pandemic.

STUDENT SHOOT & RISE LIVE PERFORMANCE: BAD LIAR
Our ADC Lyrical Students ( a mixture of absolute beginners and intermediate/advanced dancers) shot Imagine Dragon's "Bad Liar" in a field amongst car headlights out in West Auckland and performed the set live at RISE: 10 with the video launching to a sold out crowd (complete with a baby reveal for one of our pregnant dancers (if you watch closely you'll be able to see it!). The live performance had our students flying in the air, and across the audience, thanks to our amazing stunt team and dancers who were game to fly!

Lockdown Level 4, 2020 -shot 3 weeks before we all locked down for the first time!
Shot in December 2019 - our Lyrical Students (a mixture of beginner and intermediate dancers) came together to be part of our "Elements" campaign. A mixture of experienced and complete beginners, they worked their way up to performance level across an 8-10week course.
